When she was born, her family and the doctors decreed that Lou would be a woman, and Lou doesn’t agree. Lou humorously recounts her personal story of transition: from taking testosterone, to stripping, to discovering the queer world.
In doing so, Lou echoes questions we all ask ourselves: do we have to be what we’ve been told?
Can we reinvent our bodies and our relationship with love?
