Synopsis of the film

Justin Hurwitz
Justin Hurwitz is an American composer and screenwriter. His collaboration with Damien Chazelle on Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench (2009), Whiplash (2014), La La Land (2016), First Man (2018) and soon Babylon (2022) has earned him worldwide recognition and numerous awards. He won two Oscars® – Best Soundtrack and Best Original Song for “City of Stars” – as well as the Golden Globe Awards.
Damien Chazelle
Damien Chazelle is a French-American director, screenwriter and producer. His filmography includes Whiplash (2014), La La Land (2016), and First Man (2018), for which Justin Hurwitz composed the music. He has received numerous awards including the Oscar® for Best Director for La La Land, his dream project, making him the youngest person to receive this award at the age of 32. He also worked on a Netflix series project, The Eddy, which takes place in Paris. His last film, Babylon, takes place in the 1920s in Hollywood.
Yellow Socks Orchestra
The Yellow Socks Orchestra is a French symphony orchestra specializing in film music. It was created in 2015 by the production company uGo&Play and under the musical direction of Nicolas Simon. The Yellow Socks Orchestra participates in numerous cinema concerts throughout France: Jurassic Park, E.T. l’extra-terrestre, La La Land, Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings, Azur and Asmar, Les Choristes, the Harry Potter film saga and soon Les Parapluies de Cherbourg and Microcosmos. Under the exceptional direction of Joe Hisaishi, the Yellow Socks Orchestra has also performed the most beautiful music from the universe of Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli) with 250 musicians on stage. The orchestra also plays programs featuring works by renowned composers such as John Williams and Hans Zimmer but also artists from the world of manga and anime with Manga Symphonic Odyssey.
